North Maple Productions is a Los Angeles-based production company focused on giving a voice to storytellers from historically excluded and underrepresented groups. Their aim is to highlight diverse stories of race, gender and sexuality. As women of color, Naisha Arnold and Rushie Perera are committed to changing the landscape of film and television by raising the profile of marginalized groups in the media both by working with veteran storytellers as well as fostering new and emerging talent.  

Naisha was a talent manager for over a decade and produced Stella’s Last Weekend. Rushie has been working in film and television production and development for 13+ years, selling shows to Showtime, FX, Nat Geo, Netflix, Viceland, OWN, WETV, E!, ID, Logo, Bravo, HGTV, DIY, AOL and REFINERY29. Her most recent credits include the limited series Hip Hop Uncovered (FX) & Supervillain (Showtime). 

North Maple is committed to telling scripted and non-scripted stories from and about women, BIPOC and the LGBTQ+ community.
